HER Workshops

Psychologically informed workshops linked to our core programmes, designed to help women and girls (ages 11-25) build confidence, understand themselves and strengthen their wellbeing - one session at a time.

Not everyone needs or wants to commit to a longer programme. Our standalone workshops offer an accessible way to explore important wellbeing topics through creativity, psychology-informed activities, conversation and reflection.

Each workshop focuses on a different theme and can be attended independently.

Workshops may explore themes such as:

1. Confidence and self-belief
2. Self-worth and identity
3. Body image and self-perception
4. Communication and finding your voice
5. Friendships and healthy relationships
6. Understanding emotions and coping strategies
7. Boundaries and looking after yourself
8. Goals, aspirations and your future
9. Understanding yourself and your experiences
10. Creative wellbeing and self-expression

Our standalone workshops are informed by the themes and approach used across Her Community's longer programmes, allowing participants to explore individual topics without needing to commit to a full programme.

Some participants may attend one workshop. Others may choose to return for different themes or explore further support through Her Community.

Who Are They For?

Depending on the individual workshop, sessions may be suitable for: girls, young women, women, parents and daughters, community groups, schools and organisations. Each workshop will clearly state it's intended age group.
